Academic Graduate Programs

At the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), we offer a diverse range of graduate degree programs designed to fit various learning styles. Our programs are available through:

  • Residential Courses
  • Partnership Programs

Courses are delivered in multiple formats, including:

  • Face-to-Face/Onsite
  • Online
  • Blended/Flipped Learning

We also offer select graduate courses and dual degree programs in collaboration with our partner universities abroad. As a premier national university, RUA is dedicated to providing high-quality graduate education to both local and international students. Our programs are supported by over 100 experienced faculty members across 10 faculties and 2 schools, with graduate students comprising approximately 3% of our total student population.

Institutional Outcomes (ILO) of RUA Graduate Programs
Institutional outcomes for a graduate of RUA graduate programs shall be a global leader, lifelong learner, and professional who is a/an:

     ILO 1. Active contributor/innovator for economic growth and community engagement.
     ILO 2. Visionary researcher who is capable of complex real world problem-solving.
     ILO 3. Policy maker in agriculture and related sciences.
     ILO 4. Domain expert with critical and creative thinking to apply innovative and evidence-based methods in designing novel solutions to future challenges.
     ILO 5. Competent and responsible global citizen with comprehensively applicable abilities, skills, and behaviors for employment in complex and multicultural environments.
     ILO 6. Digitally literate and effective communicator.
     ILO 7. Team player imbued with ethical values and professionalism

Program Outcomes (PLO) of RUA Graduate Programs

For all RUA Masters' Degree Programs
Graduate program outcomes shall common to all master’s degree programs at RUA. The graduate of master’s degree programs shall have the ability to:

     PLO 1. Perform the knowledge and skills at the forefront of a field.
     PLO 2. Think independently, critically and creatively in applying or redefining innovative and evidence-based knowledge or its application in designing novel solutions to future challenges.
     PLO 3. Apply innovative and evidence-based knowledge skills in a variety of complicated and unpredictable situations, as well as in the development and testing of novel solutions to problems.
     PLO 4. Provide expert judgment with integrity and responsibilities for professional knowledge, practice and management.
     PLO 5. Communicate ideas, issues and conclusions clearly.

 

For all RUA Dotorate Degree Programs
Graduate program outcomes shall common to all doctorate degree programs at RUA. The graduate of doctorate degree programs shall have the ability to:

     PLO 1. Perform advanced and specialized knowledge and skills at the forefront of a field.
     PLO 2. Think independently and innovatively in creation of new knowledge and practices.
     PLO 3. Apply highly specialized and complex knowledge and skills in developing and testing novel solutions to problems dealing with a complex and fast-technological-changing world.
     PLO 4. Extend authoritative and expert judgment with significant integrity and responsibilities contributing to creation of new ideas and processes of professional knowledge, practice and management.
     PLO 5. Communicate complex and/or ambiguous ideas, issues and conclusions clearly and effectively


For Specific Master's or Doctorate Degree Programs

  1. Specific graduate program outcomes shall common to the discipline and form of degree program that to be prepared by the academic unit offering the degree.
  2. Specific to a sub-discipline and major shall also be prepared by the academic unit offering the degree.
